The workshop is designed for clinicians required to care for the pediatric patient and have little to no pediatric experience. The session will include a general approach to pediatric assessment, the clinical significance of abnormal findings, and the techniques and skills needed for common pediatric procedures. Emphasis will be placed on developing age- appropriate communication with children to aid in their assessment. |
